> Public transportation: The institute is located less than 5 minutes walking-distance from the S+U Zoologischer Garten station. The following public transportation lines service this stop:

– U-Bahn and S-Bahn: U2, U9, S3, S5, S7, S9

– Bus: 100, 109, 110, 200, 204, 245, 249, M45, M46, M49, X10, X34

– Additionally, a few regional trains stop at this station: RB23, RE1, RE2, RE7

> Tickets: can be bought from automats in the U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, as well as from the BVG-Ticket App (also available in English). You must validate your ticket before entering the trains or bus. There is also the BVG-Fahrplan App to plan routes.

 

FAQ

Public transportation: Follow the signs for the S-Bahn and take any of the trains with direction Westkreuz, Potsdam or Spandau for 3 stops until Zoologischer Garten. Take the exit marked Herdenbergstraße.

Taxi: The main station has a designated pick-up area for taxis, where you can also find drivers. It is also possible to book or order a trip by telephone or online: +49 30 202020 or https://www.taxi-berlin.de/

Public transportation: There is an S-Bahn station connected to the Terminal. With the S9 direction Spandau you can get directly to Zoologischer Garten. For this trip you need a ticket for the Berlin ABC Zone.

Café Mittelachse (Hardenbergstr. 33 – 2nd floor of UdK university building) – Persian and Middle Eastern dishes

Burgermeister (Joachimsthaler Str. 3) – delicious hamburgers, they also offer a vegetarian option
